MeSH, Emtree, etc: What are they and when do you need them?

That’s where database subject headings come in. Systems like MeSH in PubMed and Emtree in Embase act like smart topic labels, gathering all relevant papers under one roof no matter how the authors phrased things. In this short, accessible session, we’ll break down what these subject headings are, why they’re a secret weapon for thorough literature searches, and how to know when it’s time to use them.
