Visit the Leisure Lounge this month (4th floor, near the printers!) and check out some of the classic novels in our collection!
Do you want to look smart on the subway? Make your high school teacher proud? Impress your friends? Actually read a book? We have a small but well-loved collection of classic reads on the 4th floor of the library, stop by to grab one!
Some examples include:
Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie (the queen of mysteries!)
Sense and Sensibility (sorry, Pride and Prejudice is checked out! but we have plenty of other Jane Austen novels to choose from :-)
A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens (your high school teacher definitely asked you to read this!)
The Brothers Karamazov (a depressing Russian novel!)
The Master and Margarita (a funny Russian novel!)
Wuthering Heights (why watch the movie when you can read the book!)
plus many more!
As always, if you have a suggestion for something you'd like to see on our shelves, please let us know!
