Looking for a quiet spot to take a virtual appointment? Have a residency interview coming up? Need to make a quick call between classes? We are pleased to officially announce that we have installed two soundproof booths on our 6th floor! They are designed to give you a dedicated, distraction-free space for your virtual communication needs.
Each one-person booth features an adjustable-height table and stool let you set up the booth to fit you, and offers adjustable lighting and fan speed . Each booth runs an automatic refresh in between users to ensure the best air quality.
The booths themselves don't come with built-in videoconferencing technology, so you'll need to bring your own device. If you don't have one handy, laptops are available to check out from the Library Service Desk on the 4th floor.
Booths can be reserved for up to two hours per day, with a maximum of three bookings per week. Reservation extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
