Create a Proxied Link to an Ovid Article, Journal, Book, or Saved Search

Sharing a Link

Ovid uses the digital object identifier (DOI) of and article or something called a “Jumpstart” to generate permanent URLs to resources such as book chapters, journal articles, and saved MEDLINE searches. These Jumpstart links already include the library’s proxy prefix URL—so nothing else needs to be done! All you need to do is copy and paste the generated link. Here are a few examples:

Article from Search Results

1. After searching PubMed, select the article title from the results list
2. Find the Digital Object Identifier of the article and right click on the link to "Copy Link Address"
